What are the Different Types of Shackles?
Shackles and chains can provide personal safety whilst working at height. D-shackles are commonly used to bear loads in line. Bow shackles or anchor shackles have an O-shaped design, enabling them to take loads from many directions. Snap shackles have a spring-activated locking mechanism for one-handed fastening and quick-release.
