Rated 1 out of 5 by from Description pathetic Would be great if the description said what size drill bit would be required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rawlplug anchor screw Drilled an 8mm pilot hole and sent the fixing straight in using a 15mm socket by hand into a 4x4 timber post, it immediately bit in the concrete post I was fixing too no problem and even with one of these in it was solid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but not always easy to use. Not always easy to use, but work well once fitted. NB the hole depth is not clearly marked on the packaging (it is there, but in a very small pictogram) - 110mm for 75mm screw sounds like a lot, especially when most drill bits have an effective length of ≤ 100mm. Clearing the drill dust from the hole multiple times is a must - inserting the screw into a cleaned hole actually creates more dust! Downward holes are a real difficulty - I used a 150mm bit, plus compressed air to de-dust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Secure Fixings Excellent bolts (more than one size purchased) to secure a field gate and posts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good experience. They simply didn't work! Used the correct sized pilot drill, made sure there was no dust or other debris clogging up the hole but even with a socket set and extension bar couldn't screw these anchors all the way home. In the end had to give up and use "old school" expanding Rawlbolts which, as always, worked first time and with no issues.
