What are Intumescent Strips Used For?
Intumescent or fire door strips are fitted around door frames to prevent fires from spreading. They are designed to expand when exposed to extreme temperatures, filling in any gaps that smoke or fire could penetrate through.
Fire door strips are available in multipacks, so you can fit them to every fire door around your property. All models are fire-rated, tested according to current regulations and can withstand extreme temperatures for up to 30 minutes.
