Drive-in Repair Spike 75 x 75 x 300mm is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 97.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected Used repair spike as alternative to regular spike. Concrete under the earth restricted access, though using concrete for this job would have eliminated planting opportunities. Solid construction. Great service from Toolstation. Ordered and ready in no-time-at-all. Competitive pricing made Toolstation the easy choice. Used two of these spikes and happy with the outcome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cracked Post Bought this after reading up on what to do! Saw off the post that’s on the concrete and split then hammer this post into the corner of the old wooden using the special tool you can buy and that’s it put the new post in and it’s done! So easy for a novice like me!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fit for advertised purpose This spike is supposed to be for driving into a concrete hole in place of a 75 x 75mm post, but it will not fit in that size of hole! The hole will be a maximum of 106mm across the diagonal, but the spike is flared to 112mm wide at the point where the taper ceases. (Check the picture.) Hence not fit for purpose. So, 6mm of thick steel must be lost somewhere. As other reviewers have found, brute force results in either cracking the concrete apart or distorting the spike giving you a more difficult repair than you started off with. Luckily for me, the 2 posts I was replacing for an elderly neighbour were badly rotted, so I hollowed out the top inch or two of the hole in the concrete and measured the size of the hole. I made them fit in 2 ways: For the first one I ground off the flared bits so the spike would fit in a true 75 x 75mm square hole. Nasty thing to do because it leaves unprotected steel and it still didn't go in to full depth. For the second, I drilled 13mm holes in the concrete, at the two opposite corners where the flared sections were to go. (Tip - start with 6mm drill a little away from the corner and finish with 13mm, just breaking through to the main hole.) The extra space accommodated the flares and it went in very well. Where I had removed the rotted wood in the top of the 75 x75 concrete hole, I filled the space with a bit of mortar for extra stability - you can drop it through the square hole in the middle of the spike. Otherwise, the spike is very solidly made with a good paint coating. Just let down by faulty fabrication which means it won't fit in a 75 x 75mm hole. The competition may have the same fault, so check your measurements carefully and good luck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great spike for small fences and repairs Great little spike, not quite as sturdy as the longer one, but did the job.
