Decking Clip (100 Pack) is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stick with screws Sorry but I really cannot recommend these, they seem a great idea but I struggled to get the decking level with them so I had to pull them out and fallback to screws

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Each one bent - the decking was harder than the clips - will be returning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decked out I bought these for my decking project, basically i didn't want many screws showing. The clips work well the tricky bit is knocking them into the boards.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This looked like a great alternative to screws, but turned out to be a disappointment. Spent 4 times as long getting these into one board than it would have taken to screw. I think if you're using short, straight, softwood decking boards this will work. Problem I had was using 4.8m pine boards, which weren't quite straight. Meant the clips were a nightmare to bang into the boards and very hard to align. After 1 board I gave up and screwed the rest in. Even had to go back to this board in the end and use screws to pull the board level.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a bad alternative to more expensive products I never leave reviews but as there's only one i thought I'd try and help people out, basically i looked a lot of different deck fixings from camo to tigerclaw but each had limitations like depth of wood or cost of fixings. I decided to try these as i could readily get more if i ran out, basically they are great little fixing but i would recommend a board clamp and then it makes installing this product a dream. Overall a great product at an attractive price point!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, needs something to help insert it. The decking looks fine using these and is going smoothly but knocking these into the wood without bending them isn't easy. I used a block of wood with a couple of metal strips separated at just the right width to allow the spike in between and then using a hammer to hit the block to knock the clip into place. Using a metal hammer directly on the spike would ruin the clips, and using a rubber one will damage the hammer but otherwise the product is good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very useful but needs some improvements Bought these clips to create a 20 squ. metre deck with virtually no visible screws. They do the trick but have some flaws; Firstly the metal is quite soft so they are easy to bend when you're hammering them in. There is a knack but I needed to bend a few to get the technique right. Applying to softwood decking boards is easy but with the inevitable warping on new boards, these clips are no good at holding the board straight (once jigged true) so the addition of diagonal deck screw down the board edge seems to do the trick. They would also be easier to use if you could either get half clips or they are perforated to allow you snap off half the base plate, as where you have a decking board running flush with a support beam you cannot apply these clips. Well unless you want to get busy with a hack saw! Overall they seem to be a good way to fix a deck without lots of unsightly screws and I would recommend them.
