Excellent for hard to paint surfaces
My standard primer for anything hard to paint now. Best I’ve found for anything from MDF to melamine. Covers brilliantly and dries incredibly quickly. Not worth saving a couple of quid and getting something off brand, this is the business.

Does what it says on the tin
Amazing product. Seals walls instantly. Easy to apply with small roller. I used on a 2 bed flat on smoke stains, damp stains, crumbling wall & bare wood. Easy to paint over after 15 minutes to give amazing finished results .

Avoid at all costs
Only use this paint if you have absolutely no other options.
It's cellulose based paint, so it goes off almost as soon as it goes down, so unless you're prepared to work incredibly quickly, then you are in trouble. It runs, so makes working quickly really tough. Be prepared to see drags and scuffs in your paint.
Don't paint this using an expensive brush, buy one that you will throw away. Buy two if you need to apply two coats. White spirit or turpintine will not clean your brush, the only solution that will is either cellulose paint thinners or nail polish remover...and you'll need a lot, so my advise is not to bother.
I would honestly seek out an oil based alternative to this product. It was an absolute pain to work with...I would never choose it again.

Brilliant product
Used to prime a heavily varnished window frame ready to paint. Did the job in one coat. Dries really quickly and really does stick to anything including finger nails so will wear disposable gloves next time! It's pretty runny so I would definitely wear eye protection every time. Beware if you shake the can instead of stirring (it says you can) it does explode a bit so gloves and eye protection right from the start.

Excellent product for covering over dark wood once stripped of varnish and sanded down.
Very strong smell and can only be used outside or in a well ventilated room with all windows and doors open . Dries very quickly and put two coats on within 4 hours . Painted next day with satin paint and covered well. No dark wood showing. Would recommend.

Excellent performance
Excellent adhesion: I have used it over varnish on wood, after degreasing and a bit of sanding to roughen the surface. It goes a long way, and is ready to repaint very quickly. Takes a bit of getting use to working with it, as it is very runny, and goes off quickly. I think it's worth it for the performance when the surface requires.

Zinsser Primer Sealer Stail Killer
I used Zinsser on a badly water stained wall, one coat was all that was required prior to finishing with two coats of emulsion. Really impressed with this product as a stain block and primer.
