The Yale HSA App Enabled Alarm Kit can be remotely controlled via the portable keypad or the app on your smartphone, with the ability to part or fully arm the system. All components are wireless and come pre-linked for easy set up and installation. System alerts will be sent by email, text and app notifications when the alarm has been triggered. The ability to add up to 20 accessories including sensors means you can customise the system to suit any property needs.

Extend your alarm system with an additional PIR Motion Detector 79863 or Door / Window Contact & Magnet 26843 .

Collection Details

Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday. Please check your local store is open on the store locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the store you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Don’t forget your mobile number – Make sure your mobile number is added so that we can text you when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for your text or email before coming to collect your items.

If an item is eligible for Next Business Day Collection in store, the order must be placed by 9pm Monday to Thursday for collection the next day. Orders placed after 9pm on Thursday, and up to 5pm on Sunday, will be available for collection on Monday. For larger items over 30kg, please allow two business days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Alarm System There has been some professional break-ins in the area. I haven’t got expensive stuff to steal however they don’t know that until they have got in my house. So bought this as a deterrent from chancers that could just break in the back door with a crowbar. Out the box - everything you see in the picture, decent quality items made of plastic but does what it needs to. The “dummy” siren box is exactly the same as the real one, just without the electronics inside. Physical installation - very simple to install, if you’re ok with a drill. Simply drill the holes, use wall plugs and screw the devices into the hole. Obviously you need a ladder to install the siren outside. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION - PLEASE READ IF YOU’RE HAVING ISSUES. The initial instructions that Yale provide is very poor. The app you need to set this up is “Yale Smart Living Home” (version 3.0.1.16 to be exact when I set it up) Once you have registered an account, it’s easy to setup from then. The Hub needs an ethernet cable connection from your internet modem to work. Once you have the Hub connected, you have to press a button on each device (keypad, door sensors and motion sensors) to connect them to the alarm system individually, pretty easy. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO DO THIS BIT. The siren is really loud, that’s for sure. Once all is set up, go to the settings option on the app and change the notifications to burglar alarm only or else you will get a notification every time you turn the system on and off which is a pain. Also one other thing, one of the sensors batteries was low right out of the box. It took me ages to figure this out and the system kept telling me there was an issue. Spent ages trying to work out the problem. After changing the AA batteries in it it sorted the problem, it was annoying though to waste time. All this being said, it is a decent setup for the price. This is the cheapest you’ll find on Toolstation. There’s cheaper out there but without the Hub so it really depends on if you want to be informed of a break-in when you can do something about it ie call the police or wait to be told by your neighbours when you get home. You can also add other devices to the system later which is a plus. I’m planning on putting a door sensor on the shed door to protect that a little. You can also connect the system to Alexa however I haven’t looked into this yet. Hope this helps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yale HSA6610 starter kit A bit fiddly to set up but not difficult. Slight mismatch between printed instructions and website but easily sorted. Works well and good value for money. Used Yale happily before so bought again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I'd rather use my old alarm clock Very poor alarm system in my opinion. Dissapointing the alarm doesn't come with DC power. Biggest problem is that the alarm didn't respond when power removed from Control Panel. Yale returned my call after about 4 hours to tell me that the system needs to be in place for 72 hours to charge the battery which I can not get my head round because surley if the Control box has a rechargeable battery then enough charge will have been held to set off the alarm once the mains was disconnected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great alarm Now the alarm is installed I’m really happy, great flexible biliary with the app. One word of warning, ready and understand the instructions in detail first. Once you’ve downloaded the app and set up the account, you only have an hour to pair all of the devices. Although it says the alarm shows on the apps devices, it doesn’t, but will work if paired in time
