Rated 3 out of 5 by from This may be an excellent product but ..... I bought this for a new shower-room. Builder had recommended a fan with a humidistat and Toolstation had this one at a good price - and its external design is excellent. Usual efficient service from Toolstation - item delivered as promised. However, electrician found that the fan was damaged inside. Toolstation took back the fan without any problem and arranged for delivery of identical model - again delivered as promised. This one looked OK so electrician fitted it. The fan activated a few (very few) times (it only comes on when the humidistat requires it to - no manual over-ride) but has since then refused to come on at all however much steam there is in the room. (It didn't respond to a furiously boiling kettle.) I have seen on another website that there may be a manufacturing fault with the model but I have no way of knowing whether that is correct. Xpelair have offered to replace the item but experince so far does not give confidence. So currently waiting for electrician to remove the item and replace it with a separately sourced fan. Sorry Toolstation, it's no reflection on you but I will be bringing the item back. I have given the item 3 stars as its design is excellent and I may just have been unluckly but I would recommend getting assurance from Xpelair that any manufacturing fault in relation to the humidistat has been overcome before buying this fan
