Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than Mcalpine - not sure why toolstation are disconunituing them !! Have always for over 25 years used mcalpine traps for under sinks - however with a wm1 and a wm2 find that attaching the appliances causes gurgling and working loose on the spigot junctions. having just replumbed a kitchen sink with new waste pipe on a 3rd floor apartment i split the waste into two runs merging and then the main bowl plus dishwasher and the hand bowl with the washer and set up 2 of the neo air bottle traps, so save space and also avoid gurgling. leash and working loose they worked first time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No leaks - easy install Having just bought a new dishwasher, I needed to install a new drain trap that could accommodate the drainage hose. Dreading the job due to the leaks on the previous generic bottle traps, I was pleasantly surprised. No need to get out any wrenches, etc, it’s all convenient and can be done by hand. My only suggestion is for there to be better installation instructions (not Toolstation’s fault) as there is nothing on the packaging and nothing online either. The spigot for the drain hose needs to be cut or drilled to work. Took me a fair while to figure it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the trick Used this to connect a dishwasher to a twin sink set-up. It worked well given the short distance from the sink to the waste pipe exiting from the other sink via its bottle trap. Doesn't seem to be leaking so far!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor. Leaks. Avoid Outlet connection: That was OK. I can see the 1/4 turn would help in a very light space. However it does not grip the pipe as well as compression so can pull off/does not support the trap if outlet pipe too long Appliance Inlet: There is a non return washer/flap as the inlet is not angled up. However design means it can pinch and the flap needs to hinge at bottom to stop this otherwise leaks Telescopic: This is poor. There is not enough of a lip to stop this pulling out and it leaks unless perfectly level/straight. Air admitance system: When draining a full sink this backsup and water comes out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total rubbish trap Total rubbish leaked as soon as fitted. Telescopic part pulls right out so trap needs support. Far easier and cheaper to use std basic traps. I would never buy again

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but could be more sturdy This bottle trap seems to let in more air than most air vent traps, but there are some potential problems with the telescopic pipe and the rather flimsy plastic it’s made from. Having said that I have installed 2 and they can work very well if you understand what can go wrong. Make sure to connect the bottle trap to sturdy piping that can offer some support and prevent the bottle from moving about on the telescopic pipe. If the bottle gets to the bottom limit of the telescopic pipe (or is at a slight angle) then this can cause leaks from the seal between the telescopic pipe and bottle, so it does need the support of the connected pipes. All the pipe connections seem to give zero leaks as promised and if fitted securely then it works better than most others I have tried.
