What is a Convector Heater?

A convector heater uses an electric element to warm the air, and then relies on natural convection to circulate the heat back into the room. Because it’s not fan-forced, a convector heater is far quieter than a fan heater – and is far less likely to blow dust and other particles into the air too.

Also known as a convection heater, you’ll find a range of sizes to suit all kinds of spaces. For portable use, choose a small convector heater with feet – these units are freestanding and lightweight, so it’s easy to move them from room to room.

If you only want to heat one room or specific area, consider a wall-mounted convection heater. The slimline design means they’ll take up less floor space than a freestanding alternative, and you’ll have a choice of greater power outputs – a 3kW convector heater will combine the highest heat output with performance.
