Ulti-Mate® Wood Screws feature a sharp point with a prominent thread at the tip. This allows for a rapid start and immediate thread engagement, saving time and effort, and driving more screws per charge if using a cordless tool. Other advantages include a slotted shank that reduces wood splitting, and a countersunk head complete with ribs for a flush finish (40mm and shorter do not have the ribs to ensure that they are hinge compatible).
