Tubular Latch 75mm Brassed is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 209.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tubular latch Very poor quality, had to grease to get it to move without sticking and because it’s a square section it won’t fit in the existing round hole.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crap You get what you pay for - fitted to door and spring part snapped so now latch is stuck in so chucked in bin

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap, but as good as the expensive ones. I've bought several different makes of latch and they all seem to fail after 4-5 years when used on the frequently opened doors at home. Usually this is because the diecast cam that the shaft passes through cracks, but also the top and bottom metal strips can bend out of shape resulting in the cam jamming between them. Most of my doors use knobs and I suspect the latches would last longer with handles, as the handle restricts the rotation of the shaft and also gives better support. Anyway, I've concluded that the more expensive latches are no better and so will continue to buy these and replace them as necessary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap as chips, literally It's a latch for less than a quid, have bought this type for my own house and some lasted twenty years,

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap and cherfull you get what you pay for Cheap and cheerfull, bigger than any other so you will have to get the chisel out if you're replacing one on an existing door. A lot of play in the latch

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Catch a Latch Item bought to replace catch which was a few years old, the replacement has a small additional bump on side near catch so be aware if you are replacing same as me you will need to chisel out a small groove about 15mm long and 10mm high. After the bit of extra work the latch works perfectly.
