These TechFast self-drilling roof screws are strong and versatile. They're ideal for fixing light section purlins and attaching steel to steel or wood to metal. The screws are strong enough to penetrate wood, sheet metal and plastic. You’ll find the self-drilling quality and this strength are really useful, as you don’t want to have to spend time pre-drilling holes when you're at the top of a ladder fixing a garage roof. 

The flanged hex heads also make roof work easier, as they allow tool access in tight positions. These roof screws have 16 mm rubber washers that expand under pressure, forming permanent watertight joins. They're great for a roof in exposed positions, even in a coastal area where salt can be a problem. With an Elementech anti-corrosion coating, they'll stand up to weathering – in fact, they’ve been salt spray tested to 1,000 hours.
