TCT Core Drill 40mm is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 69.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value tool Used with their 250mm SDS adapter and an 8mm pilot drill to run 40mm waste through breeze block/brick cavity wall. Went through easily and gave a clean cut. Cutters still sharp after one go. Needed to tease waste through wall with a lump hammer due to very tight fit, but no filling/sealing to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jobs a goodun Annoyingly this kept unscrewing with hammer vibration. Found a shakeproof washer and bored it so suit. Been working fine since

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok for soft bricks! Bought to do a vent for dryer went through inner wall pretty easily although depth was an issue and had to stop and chisel core. Then it came to the outer wall! It would hardly touch it so returned it an got a replacement even with the new one it was hardly touching it ended up drilling pilot holes all the way round then using it but still took ages. Wouldn't buy again

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for walls with under 70mm thickness Good product however depth is to short and makes the work harder has you got stop quite a few times and then chisel and hammer the core to break up and remove the pieces otherwise you can't progress more than 60mm roughly in depth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Value for Money Although I bought this core drill for a one-off job, it cut through concrete high density block like a knife through butter, and remains sharp. I anticipate that it will be just as good in future, should I require it, and it made financial sense to buy just the diameter needed, not a costly set.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality. The part was damaged. Had a tooth missing so bought another one. Also needs an arbour and core drill. Not very clear what arbour is required.
