Rated 3 out of 5 by from Careful, it won't push in! Please be aware that although marked 40mm, this pipe is not compatible with 40mm push in fittings, as it's actually nearer 42mm

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size does matter! The two previous reviews highlighted a size issue with this pipe. In both case it appears to me that the basis of the problem is that they have been given push fit pipe which is two millimetres smaller on the outside diameter than solvent weld (41 as opposed to 43mm). I have used this item with the fittings supplied by Toolstation plus other makes and never had a problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not 40mm Bought yesterday and when trying it with the solvent weld fittings supplied at the same time, as a previous customer says, it is an extremely loose fit that no amount of solvent would fill. Useless! Now I have a 15 mile round trip to take it back and I'll need to purchase the pipe elsewhere.
