Reviews
Safe Plate 50 x 90mm (10 Pack) is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Electrical nail safe plate Quite thin and the spikes tend to bend back when driven into hard timber and there are no screw holes for better fixing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size I got these for a new timber frame building to protect electric cables and water pipe in the timber beams,Very easy to fix and a perfect fit for framing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Spikes not pointed These aren't really up to the job, the spikes on the back aren't pointed they are round, so when you try to hammer into timber they simply bend. I had to pilot drill all the holes for the spikes before hammering them into position. Ultimately they did work hence 2 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job Not much to say quick delivery They are a little easy to flatten the pegs on if not careful / hit a knot in the timber but easily sorted with small nails or tacs

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job Hopefully no more damaged cables when the plasterers are on site
Date published: 2017-06-18
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it's supposed to Works, you won't get a drywall screw through them, you will need to straighten the barbs out as they aren't at 90 deg to the plate and will fold down if you belt the plate in, the press tool hadn't gone down far enough
Date published: 2016-12-23
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job Useful for protecting cables and pipes in notches cut into timber joists. If the nails don't hold tight, can back it up with thin screws. Will mould to shape of uneven joists using a hammer.
