Radiator Valve Change Kit is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did the job! I bought these to avoid draining the whole system when changing a radiator valve, and they worked very well. They are not all that flexible, so you have to push them pretty hard into the pipes, but they held OK and the vacuum obviously helps when you open the pipe or valve where you are working. I reckon only a pint or so of water came out, and I was able to finish the job very easily. Don't forget you can only work on ONE valve at a time!!! More than one opening in the system will allow air in and water out, so plan your work accordingly :) As a side note, if you have a couple of bottle stops (the kind of thing you use if you don't finish a bottle of wine - yeah, I know, who doesn't finish a bottle of wine???) then these would do an identical job. Or, in my case, a 22mm push-fit stop end would have done for the vent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it says Leaking valves on a towel rail, realy didn't want to drain the system. This kit allowed a quick swap of the valves without draining the system, Nice. I'll definately keep these handy in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked perfect Used to assist in changing a downstairs radiator valve. Turned the heating off and shut down all radiator valves in the house. Turned off the inlet to the heating header tank in the loft. Pressed and twisted these rubber bungs in the header tank outlet and expansion tank (fitted firm, secure and aligned with pipes). Gently undid valve to be replaced. Slight dribble of water the the vacumn effect on the pipes worked perfect. Made changing the valve a doddle. However the bungs may become worn and not seat properly after several uses. So use with caution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Wasn't sure it would work but followed the instructions and changed a TRV in minutes. Even poured the collected water back into the expansion tank.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Time saver Whilst renovating my bathroom I replaced the existing radiator with a chrome towel radiator, I came across this kit by accident and thought I would give it a go as draining down is such a pain. I didn't achieve a perfect isolation (possibly my fault) but the reduced flow allowed me to replace the old valves, one at a time with the new chrome valves.
