QEP Diamond Wheel Wet Tile Cutter 450W is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 72.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well for the price Not done much with it so far, but it works well and very good for the price. Assembly is easy, but the instructions require an element of intuition because the pictures are pointless. Surprisingly sturdy and accurate for what it looks like. It says not to overfill the reservoir, but is not obvious where the max fill line is, until you put water in and the overflow dumps it everywhere. Cleaning out the water chamber was difficult. It got a thick paste that was stuck to the bottom and not easy to get it out. Think it's great if you've got a DIY project, but probably not for heavy use

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for money This is a no frills tile cutter that does the job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job nicely Just as good as my Brother-In-Laws Plasplug cutter which I normally borrow (but on this occasion couldn’t). My only criticism would be the postioning of the stop and start buttons - when you’re ready to start cutting or when you’ve finished, you need to bend down to reach the buttons. In my opinion they’d be better on the side. Having said that, it did the job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent value & ideal for DIY jobs Whilst a pro tiler would not give this the time of day, it worked fine for cutting the porcelain 300x600 tiles I used in my shower room. Admittedly there was not enough width on the guide bed to do some of the larger cuts but overall it worked well. I bought the Vitrex porcelain blade for this to minimise chipping & that worked well....just take it slow, Don't overfill the reservoir - just go up to the overflow. Also made sure you keep the guard flat on the tile - that prevents water spraying everywhere & the excess water will drain back into the reservoir.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tool I’ve purchased in years I bought this cutter so I could cut tiles around the plug sockets and window area in the kitchen, for the price it simply is unbelievable. If it never worked again it was worth every penny if your tiling you need one of these

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but can chip cut edges and corners This is quite good as is likely to be sold under a few brand names, as it looks pretty much identical to a Vitrex I had before apart from the colour of the guide rails. Works well but does have a tendancy to leave a slighty rough cut at times, so the edges of cuts can be chipped out a tad. I find putting the tile face down helps a bit, but not entirely cure. Could be down to a low quality blade maybe? For a small job, this was fine, obviously this is going to more suitable for smaller tiles, I think you could to 300mm x 300mm comfortably.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal for light diy tiling Bought to do a complete kitchen tiling job. Easy to put together. As guides are plastic I didnt expect exact cuts every time but most were in tolerance. Quite noisy in operation (as are most tile cutters.) Supplied blade lasted well but as it wore the tiles did start chipping. Not to bad to clean out with a hose pipe. would recommend cleaning after a dozen or so cuts as water tank collects dust very well and turns into grinding paste. Always use the blade cover to prevent water spray. All in all a very handy tool for the money.
