Product Details

Remove paint, sand fillers and key surfaces prior to painting with this Mirka hand sander kit. The sanding plate lies flat when you use it, making it ideal for sanding putty. Simply attach the hose to a dust extraction machine to achieve a virtually dust-free environment when using.

The 55 holes in the plate optimise the extraction of dust and improve airflow, giving you a dustless sander while helping the tool move smoothly. It has a soft, two-handed handle and the strips grip to the plate, so you don't need to use any extra equipment like clamps to attach them.

• Kit contains one 80mm x 230mm Mirka Handy Sanding Block with a 4m dust extraction hose (20mm diameter)

• Also includes 1x Abranet 80x230mm 80 grit strip, 3x Abranet 80x230mm 120 grit strips and 1x Abranet 80x230mm 180 grit strip

Next Day Delivery – £5.00 or FREE for orders over £25

Collection Details

Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday. Please check your local store is open on the store locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the store you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Don’t forget your mobile number – Make sure your mobile number is added so that we can text you when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for your text or email before coming to collect your items.

If an item is eligible for Next Business Day Collection in store, the order must be placed by 9pm Monday to Thursday for collection the next day. Orders placed after 9pm on Thursday, and up to 5pm on Sunday, will be available for collection on Monday. For larger items over 30kg, please allow two business days.

Granted it’s a lot of money for a hand sander, some vacuum hose and abrasive but it’s left a fine surface finish on taped and jointed plasterboard. The hose swivels at the sander end allowing for free movement and the conical bing fitted well into the vacuum I used for extraction. With the bypass hole fully closed I got excellent dust collection. Anything less than this and the dust would pool in the vent holes along the middle of the block or end up on the floor. I have a fine finish and just a wipe over with a damp cloth was required on the wall and floor. And I danced without a mask which made for a comfortable working time.

Little to no dust in the room from sanding down filled walls and window sills prior to painting/decorating. The conical end to the hose fits straight into our old Henry hoover. Really surprised, saved hours of cleaning up fine dust from the whole house, worth every penny!
