Product Details

Make wire repair and replacement simple with these wire stripping pliers from Minotaur. Wire stripping pliers are a crucial part of any electrical or general home improvement toolkit and this unit is used to remove the protective coating or insulation around wires, without damaging the conductors. This makes it easy to connect the cables to terminals or other leads.  

This wire stripper features ergonomically designed soft-grip handles to ensure you get a firm grip. The chrome vanadium steel construction makes it extremely tough and resistant to wear and tear. Plus, it won't damage easily due to rust and corrosion, so you can be confident of long-lasting use. The pliers come with a knurled screw and lock nut so it's easy to adjust the strip diameter. Next Day Delivery – £5.00 or FREE for orders over £25

Items over 30kg can only be delivered from Monday to Friday. If ordered before 6pm, please allow up to two business days for delivery. Orders placed after 6pm Thursday will be delivered after the weekend.

Collection Details

Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday. Please check your local store is open on the store locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the store you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Don’t forget your mobile number – Make sure your mobile number is added so that we can text you when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for your text or email before coming to collect your items.

If an item is eligible for Next Business Day Collection in store, the order must be placed by 9pm Monday to Thursday for collection the next day. Orders placed after 9pm on Thursday, and up to 5pm on Sunday, will be available for collection on Monday. For larger items over 30kg, please allow two business days.

The minotaur wire strippers are so easy to use. Its simple to find the exact cut needed by turning the knurled screw half a turn at a time and test it. When you find the correct depth of cut, tighten down the locknut. The cutting edges are really sharp, so a perfect cut every time. Soft touch handgrips too. Ok, ive tried other cheaper strippers with 3 or 4 fixed settings - a waste of time and money. The minotaur is relatively inexpensive and cable stripping is no longer a chore.
