Product Details

These high-quality bolt cutters from Minotaur will make short work of snipping through bolts, nuts and rods. They can also be used to sever chains, padlocks and wire mesh. They're constructed from chrome molybdenum steel to give them excellent pressure resistance and a long service life. 

The tubular steel arms are lightweight enough to make the tool easy to hold but strong enough to enable you to apply the necessary force. They're also fitted with soft grips to reduce fatigue on the user's hands. The metal has a blacked finish which helps them stand up to corrosion.

These cutters measure 36" long and can be used to cut bolts and other objects up to 16 mm in diameter. The jaws can be set to the aperture you need using the hex bolts located to the side of the cutting faces.

Collection Details

Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday. Please check your local branch is open on the branch locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the branch you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Don’t forget your mobile number – Make sure your mobile number is added so that we can text you when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for your text or email before coming to collect your items.

If an item is eligible for Next Business Day Collection in branch, the order must be placed by 7pm Monday to Thursday for collection the next day. Orders placed after 7pm on Thursday, and up to 5pm on Sunday, will be available for collection on Monday. For larger items over 30kg, please allow two business days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They work, but light jobs only. I bought these specifically to cut a small padlock off. The handles flexed quite badly when I used them, so I stopped as I felt they were going to break. I also tried cutting a car CV Boot strap with them, but they didn't do that either (so not good on flat metal). I have tested them on old screws and bolts and they do work okay. But, I would say the advantage you gain buying 24" handles is lost by the flex in the tubular construction. Light jobs only.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job Needed these to remove padlocks on some outside gates and sheds the keys for which had been lost. It took quite a bit of strength and a certain technique to get them off but the croppers cut through the bolts satisfactorily.
