Mexco TDXCEL Dry Diamond Tile Drill 7mm is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 66.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and Easy I bought this recently to second fix multiple bathroom installations , I used them as recommended by the manufacturer and they easily drilled through the porcelain and ceramic tiles quickly, although they seem expensive initially they make up for the cost in speed and ease of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Porcelain I bought this for super hard 10mm porcelain tiles and it worked a treat. 8 holes drilled in under ten minutes. Slowly drill from an angle and once in - straighten up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job.... eventually Having nearly given myself a hernia trying to get through the new tiles in my daughter's bathroom with a conventional masonary bit, I thought I'd try something different. I saw this on the website and, although I thought it was a bit pricey, I thought I'd give it a go. I was a little disappointed that it didn't cut through like a hot knife through butter but it did do the job eventually and with a lot less muscle strain then the masonary bit. I am beginning to think that the tiles are diamond coated (you'd think so with the price of the bl@#dy things) which is probably why this bit took a while to get through them. I did note that the bit seems to cut better once it gets warmed up. I believe it has a wax coating to lubricate it so that's probably why.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very impressed Don’t bother. Lasted for 3 holes then was useless. May as well get a cheep on

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good value If used properly, this bit lasts as long as a Marcrist equivalent but for half the price. You need to cool the tip after each hole by dipping it in water. If you don't do this, the wax core runs out because of the friction heat and then it will die very quickly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Drilled three holes into floor porcelain tiles and drill was useless had to go buy a different brand.
