Rated 4 out of 5 by from 10 Holes in porcelain tiles Needed to drill ten 6mm holes in 9mm thick porcelain tiles so bit the bullet and spshed out on this drill. Tbf it did the job but you have to be supper patient, the last 4 or 5 holes took about 40 minutes each. Glad that jobs finished ! Product says you don't need water but as just about every comment on every blog says to use water, that is what I did every now and then if I thought the drill was getting too hot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy now and save burning out masonry bits! After burning out several masonry drill bits drilling into very hard tiles had to "bite the bullet" and pay for a diamond drill bit. What a surprise drilled 10 holes with no problem what so ever and the bit still looks like it's good to go on and on. Drilling upwards water or lube could not be used conveniently. Well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cut through a marble tile Cut through a marble tile easily, if slowly. Follow the instructions regarding starting at an angle and do not use too much pressure - let the tool do the work as it grinds away though the material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job Bought this to cut through porcelain tiles as other just weren't upto the job. First few holes it wen't through with ease but then started to struggle. Then noticed it had a wax core to help cool and lubricate, which I assumed probably wouldn't last long. Decided to dip the bit into some candle wax to see if it had any effect, and it completely rejuvinated it. Drilled quite a few holes now using the candle wax dio trick and still going strong.
