Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent screw! Bought these for a project using MDF around a framed carcass. They fix very well indeed and for my project left a great finish. I used them mainly on face to face joints and they have held together really well. I was so impressed in fact I have bought other screws from the same brand for other projects which have all worked excellently too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Better options are available Purchased to build some mdf furniture, an assortment of desks and drawers. I noticed these and thought I'd give them a try. Wish i hadn't bothered. They either split the wood or didn't pull in. I used 4.0 x 50mm reisser cutters instead piloted with a 3mm bit. The thread is so sharp and deep on them that they cut in deep without splitting the wood. On account of this they pull in and hold well. The ribs under the head cut in when you screw flush with the surface so that they dont cause the wood to bulge. In comparison these are a total waste of time.
