This twin kit from Makita contains the DHP482Z combi drill and the DTD152Z impact driver. Both of these are cordless, powered by 18 V batteries and are well-suited for a variety of heavy-duty tasks, from home renovation to building maintenance. Included in the kit are two lithium-ion batteries, a compact charger and a Makpac connector storage case (Type 3).

These tools are fitted with electric brakes, which reduces the chance of overdriving fittings and damaging heads. The batteries are also equipped with a protection circuit, which eliminates the risk of harmful overloading and overheating whilst in use. They also have trigger-operated variable speed control. This means you can alternate between different types of materials and thicknesses without having to waste time double-checking your settings.

The maximum fastening torque of the impact driver is 165 Nm and the combi drill is 36 Nm (soft joint) and 62 Nm (hard joint). This means that both tools are well-suited for general purpose tasks, from screwing on rusty nuts to drilling holes into metal sheets. The combi drill has a no load speed of 1,900 rpm too, so it's able to drill into concrete.
