Magic Gel IP68 300ml is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stuff This is a really good potting gel for sealing outside junction boxes. I particularly like that it comes in twin graduated bottles, so you can mix exactly the amount you need and use it straight away with minimal waste. Much more economical than the two-section polythene packs where you have to use the whole pack in one shot. It is also a bit less runny than some other products which makes it easier to fill without spill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well if it's what you need. This product quickly forms an encapsulating gel but is very soft and not suited to arduous conditions. It's best suited for pouring into a hard sided container, unless the container has to flex when moved because of shape restrictions. It doesn't provide tough protection for the items encapsulated and so is not a substitute for, say, epoxy resin encapsuation. I can't answer the reliability question as I've only just bought it. I always think this is a stupid question and hope Toolstation take note and delete it in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect. Easy to use. I'm a DIY-er who needed to add waterproofing to professionally installed wiring before burying it. Easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy use magic gel Easy to mix, unlike some similar products on market, filled up some IP66 "bricklights' which were sited under ground, also an IP66 junction box,as av"belt and braces aproach,of course it hasn't rained since !,looks as tho it will do a good job ,b........u expensive tho!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good and easy to use After removing a broken lamppost in a car park I had to leave a junction box buried with live connections. The box was IP rated but without the Power Gel I would have had loads of trouble in the future. I am now happy that the connections will not get wet even after heavy downpour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant for confident waterproofing We use this as part of our standard production build of products for the sailing and marine industry. Magic Gel gives us the confidence that our electronics will be full protected when sailing boats capsize and fill with corrosive salt water.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from on the small side Good product, but only enough to fill one decent size junction box. Takes ages to go off when its cold weather.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product .....but! Nice product but might have been helpful to know that it is quite temperature sensitive, so cold weather is not the time to use it!
