Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plenty of light I bought this to replace an old and corroding metal light. The new one is plastic so no corroding, but it may suffer from UV from the sun. It also has a PIR detector to turn it on and off when its dark and once I sorted out how it worked it works really well. The instructions leave a bit to be desired, not many words mainly pencil drawings. The biggest challenge was working out how to uncover the sensor since the drawings didn't seem to think this would be an issue. So for anyone who has the same issue, the PIR has a plastic "eyelid" that can swivel to cover the sensor or cover the two adjustment screws. Be careful with the adjustment screws they can be easily damaged, and use the "eyelid" to mask the top of the PIR to control the detection range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If it lasts it is a good little lamp Light and elegant. Tricky to fit the wires into the unit. First unit did not work second on did fine but the adjusters for brightness and length of time did not appear to make any sense.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shine a light. This light was easy to instal, just read and follow instructions. Then just set up as per instructions to suit your needs. The LED gives plenty of light and covers a fair area. Totally satisfied with performance up to now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright & Inexpensive Purchased and fitted within a half-hour. Just need a small screwdriver (for the adjusters) and a drill to make the two 6mm holes in the wall for supporting the base.The rawlplugs are a bit cheap and cheerful but they work fine.The LED in the light is excellent - this 8W unit is far, far brighter than our old 40W incandescent coachlight it replaced. The adjusters are for length of time the light stays on once triggered, and the light-level at which the system becomes active (i.e. what level of dusk makes it work - you can have it trigger all day, if you wish). The one downside is that there is no adjustment for the distance of the triggering range, but it seems about 8m, which is ok. People walking past in the street set it off, but given the tweakabilty of the timer side, it's really not a problem. And although the unit is made of plastic (polycarbonate) it doesn't look cheap, and will probably fare as well, if not better than, our old aluminium-based light that shed all its paintwork inside a couple of years, and looks terribly shabby now. All in, a good product for the price, and really rather pleased with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bright 8W coach lantern Very pleased i made dicision to opt for 8 Watt Led ,as it gives out very clear white light. no need to worry it was not going to be bright enough. If you not want security flood light this is a good alternative . Easy to install, censor seems to react from about 6 metre's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal Replacement I bought this Lantern recently and finally got to site it . No problems met in replacing my old light as all the electrics were already in situ. The only problem was the weather which was very cold and suffering with arthritis made the task more arduous than it was because I had hardly any feeling in my fingers . Still managed to instal it in about 30 minutes. Very pleased with end result as I have more light than before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant! Certainly is Brilliant both in performance and lighting. Darkness and time easily adjustable. Sole issue is fitting front onto mounting plate bolts push back, just a few mm is enough not to be able to get nuts on. Easier to fix bolts with super glue w.h.u.
