What is a GLS Bulb?
GLS stands for General Lamp Shade. These are the standard pear-shaped bulbs you’ll be well used to seeing, and this shape has been the most popular design for light bulbs for many decades. That’s not to say they haven’t changed in that time though, with the old incandescent bulbs having been replaced by energy efficient LED alternatives, while this same technology has allowed for the return of classic filament style light bulbs that are popular for their warm, orangey glow.
