The pipe is made up of five layers, including a coloured oxygen barrier in the centre - this prevents the ingress of air into the system, reducing the effect of corrosion on metal components. Due to its low thermal conductivity, the pipe is cooler and safer to touch when it's carrying hot water too.
For a flexible and high performance plumbing and heating system, it is recommended to combine this plastic pipe with the range of JG Speedfit fittings.
