What are the Different Types of Gate Bolt Locks?

Slide bolt locks are a popular choice for securing many areas of your home or workplace, including garden gates, sheds and outbuildings. Manufactured in stainless steel, they are available in several sizes and sit horizontally across gates or doors. Spring locks are similar to slide bolts but spring into place, allowing you to unlock or lock them quickly. Gate drop bolts can be installed along the bottom of doors and gates, anchored to a hole in the floor. They can provide additional security to outbuildings or be used alone.
