Position those hinges perfectly with this compact hinge jig from Unika. The portable hinge jig will create a 20 mm recess for a 76 mm hinge and 30 mm for a 102 mm hinge, in both doors and door frames.
The small jig is perfect to transport between jobs and use onsite. It's quick, easy and accurate to set up - it also has a bradawl pin fixing to make sure it's stable before you get to work. It's suitable for square corner and eclipse radius corner hinges, and the adjustable set-up means you can alter the distance between the hinges.
You can use it to recess hinges to a minimum distance of 230 mm from the top or bottom of the door, in line with BS EN 1935.
