This Hawksmoor electric long reach hedge trimmer is designed to cut high level hedges safely and easily, without the need for a ladder, for convenient and safe use. The practical design provides 1010W power from a 230V supply. A number of other useful features include the telescopic extension tube and the 12 position pivoting head that aim to reduce fatigue to allow for longer working. The Hawksmoor long reach hedge trimmer is 2.59m long when fully extended, with a 45cm blade and cutting capacity of 20mm. Lightweight design, suitable for anyone to use for extended periods of time thanks to the quick release shoulder strap.

Collection Details

Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday. Please check your local store is open on the store locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the store you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Don’t forget your mobile number – Make sure your mobile number is added so that we can text you when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for your text or email before coming to collect your items.

If an item is eligible for Next Business Day Collection in store, the order must be placed by 9pm Monday to Thursday for collection the next day. Orders placed after 9pm on Thursday, and up to 5pm on Sunday, will be available for collection on Monday. For larger items over 30kg, please allow two business days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for money Bought to trim a 10ft high hedge. Worked brilliantly on the sides, but was not so good when trying to cut the top. Gets a bit heavy after a few minutes work. Nevertheless good value for money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just about cuts it. I am 6'3" and fit and healthy. As some reviews have hinted at before, this is a heavy piece of kit and not particularly well balanced. The shoulder strap is too long and poor quality so doesn't make using the trimmer any easier. I would question its ability to cut branches of the thickness claimed. Maybe it can on a one-off basis, but when faced with a hedge of them it seems to have other thoughts and struggles. This would be fine for casual annual trimming, done in stages as using it for prolonged periods is tiring. But for anything more serious I would look elsewhere. If I could return it I would.
