Flat Spoke Shave 250mm is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blade slips and is relatively blunt on arrival The blade is relatively blunt on arrival and when working with it only taking extremely thin slices the block holding the blade in place slips then you have to start adjusting the spoke-shave from scratch. Wasn't any good for making a canoe paddle for me, i managed to the most part with an old draw knife. Next time ill be looking out for a good quality spoke shave

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for money but blade needs honing. Having read some of the reviews I had low expectations for this when I bought it for my son to use on a school project. Although it comes with a ground blade, it is not honed. This might explain why others have had problems using it. Once honed and adjusted correctly it worked really well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Abysmal, stear well clear of this product It's not often that I feel the need to leave a bad review, but this product is shockingly poor quality. The cap iron screw is not perpendicular to the frog by around 20degrees, and the two adjusting screws are not parallel. It's just awful. I can't say any more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value Useful and very good for the price. Ideally I would have preferred larger more comfortable handgrips, but only had one job in mind, so happy to pay lower price and accept compromise

Rated 1 out of 5 by from waste of money except as a paperweight A very poor copy of the Stanley original. The casting is poor, the adjusters are not parallel to the base and catch on the blade. the cap iron is too small and thus doesn't fit properly. I expected to do some tuning on it but it really is not possible. It is now an expensive paperweight.
