What size bracket do I need to mount a satellite dish?

Bracket size depends on the diameter of the dish and mounting location. For standard UK satellite dishes (typically 45–80 cm), a heavy duty wall bracket with a 300–450 mm stand-off is recommended to maximise stability and signal.

What’s the purpose of a dish pole and how tall should it be?

Dish poles raise the satellite dish to improve connection to the satellite. A 1m to 2m galvanised dish pole is common for clearing obstructions like roof ridges or nearby buildings.

How do I align my satellite dish using a signal finder?

Connect the signal finder inline between your LNB and receiver, then adjust the dish position while monitoring the signal strength on the meter. Once you reach maxium signal, tighten all the bolts securely. Ensure you follow the product instructions.

What is an F-type screened socket used for?
