Ashy number 2
In need of repair
Only read the reviews after I bought it but agree with the ones that say manufacture is poor. The soldering of the terminal wires was non existent. I had to get the wires soldered on and soldered some longer tails onto them while I was at it. The original which was a lot more expensive, had decent wires to connect to. For what it cost, it's not bad.

I ignored the negative reviews and bought anyway. Great product as long as you treat internal connections with care

Just bought mine and the internal soldering must have been done by blind mice - there's only a single filament of the internal wires connected to the contacts.
5 years warranty? Well, it's broken coming out of the box....

Works well, but wiring difficult
For the price it’s good, but to connect the 12v power to work the lock you have to dismantle it as the terminal screws are covered, they are very tight and the connecting wires are very thin! I ended up soldering them, as one thin wire broke off. There were no instructions in the box, this didn’t help. I am using a WiFi plug to power a 12v supply, the lock can be opened via a app on my phone.

Electric door mortice
I’ve bought several of these in the past from toolstatuon
The Dorcas mortice release from toolstation has one major flaw.
The solder done by the factory is very poor and prone to breaking very easily.
I’ve bought 2 from toolstation and both were defective.
This is not the fault of toolstation but the manufacturer.
Please check before installing.
