Excellent robust grinder with speed control
Superb grinder especially for the price, I bought this because of the variable speed option something that is normally only found on grinders costing 3 or 4 times the price. You have to read between the lines of the description on line as ‘Variable Speed’ isn’t mentioned but the no load speed is the clue at 0-11000 RPM. Even the included manual does not mention variable speed or show an image of the control (next to the cable entry at the rear). The one grinder will do high speed, powerful grinding, use sanding pads at a lower speed, and will even run slow enough to use foam polishing pads. You need to use common sense and adjust the speed based on experience with the tool and I always wear my full face welding mask with the auto dimmer switched off whilst grinding and sanding.

Draper variable speed angle grinder
I chose this grinder because of the variable speed facility which I find most useful when using cup type wire brushes that have a max speed rating (usually 8000 rpm) which is lower than a standard angle grinder.
The grinder was supplied very quickly direct from Draper.
