Dimplex Thermostatic Tubular Heater IPX4 2ft 80W is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from These work fine. These are net little units and appear to work well. I bought four. One had a faulty thermostat but Toolstation changed it for me with no fuss.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Product seemed just what I wanted but Thermostat did't work. Tool Station refunded straight away with no quibbles so looking for an alternative.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its ok for what I needed it for Needed to add back ground heat to my tortious house, this was ideal as I only needed 40 w of heat over night, just shame the unit itself is 420mm long and not 300mm like stated in the ad, but it keeps the pet happy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile with adjustable thermostat. I now own 2 of these heaters and they are brilliant for providing Low heat where needed. I use mine to keep my motorcycles frost free in a very cold garage, the are excellent for this and as they use very little electric I leave them on 24/7. Thanks,Ken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product. Fit for purpose. This was purchased to address a condensation issue recently discovered in my floor to ceiling wardrobe located on the chimney breast side with one outside wall. My wardrobe has been fine for the past 17 years until the pebble dash has been removed from the house exterior. From the start, I was weary about the likelihood of condensation and have been checking regularly for any issue since around October. Recently in Dec during an extra damp and cold evening, I discovered that the outside wall was dripping wet, while the belonging right next to that outside wall were also wet, drops of water were also found inside a clear wardrobe bag. I was lucky to have discovered this in the nick of time before any mould formation. I immediately removed and dried all the wet items, kept nothing touching the outside wall, then I hung a Moisture Damp Trap inside the wardrobe and ordered this tubular heater. Within a couple of days whilst waiting for the heater to arrive, the damp trap bag was collecting a fair bit of moisture. Since installing the heater and letting it run for a day, the wardrobe now feels warm and dry, the outside wall no longer feels stone cold, and most surprisingly, the damp trap bag is now also bone dry, meaning that the heater has actually dried up the water collected prior to the heater installation. This heater is therefore extremely efficient and hopefully inexpensive to run as claimed. It is now set at 75%, placed onto the floor under a chest of wooden drawer, with about 9cm clearance from the tube top. ( manufacturer states 5cm minimum in their poorly illustrated instructions.) I have now ordered 2 more in hope to address an ongoing condensation / damp issue in the kitchen cupboards. They will be placed on the floor under the floor cabinets enclosed with plinths.
