Once it's wired up to your bell push button, the chime is ready to go and it will make an unmistakable 'ding-dong' sound when activated.

This wired door chime is equipped with a built-in 8 V doorbell transformer, which means that once you've wired in your mains electricity, the device will automatically down-convert it to the correct operating voltage. This makes it quick and easy to install. Mounting it to a surface is a doddle too, as all you need to do is remove the front cover and attach it with two screws through the pre-drilled holes.
