Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the can This tool has saved me a lot of time and effort. I needed to remove bricks from a very old wall to create a window opening. The wall was two bricks deep with no cavity, once I had drilled the pilot hole the rake took the old morter very quickly. It only took a few gentle taps to remove the bricks. No damage to the rest of the wall. Still got plenty of life left in it, great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent mortar rake; good value for money Good mortar rake; used to cleanly remove bricks for re-use, in particular decorative ones in a refurb. Much more controllable than a Skilsaw as I can use this in a small, lightweight grinder. Have done several dozen mortar courses with no issue and still going strong, although it is generally (although not always) old and soft mortar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great on old brickwork I used this tool to remove frost damaged bricks from a 1900s house wall.Very fast and efficient Good value for the money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saves much time I bought this to replace my old rake of the same make that I have worn out. That managed 10 linear metres of mortar. It also managed to plunge many times - even though the instructions forbid it - but the mortar was fairly soft. I haven't used this tool yet, so I can't comment on its longevity, but as it appears identical to the previous one it should be OK.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from only for a few bricks not very long lasting bare after 10 bricks
