Product Details

The Self-Cut Speed Spade Bit performs extremely fast hole drilling. Its self-feeding threaded tip enables the drill bit to effortlessly pull itself into the wood for high-speed drilling with little exertion. Fast chip removal for rapid results is made possible by the specially shaped spade.

Up to 3 times faster than a standard spade bit. It is suitable for use on soft and hard wood, light building materials and plasterboard. This spade bit has a 1/4-inch hex shank system and it is best for use with portable power drills.

Set Includes: 13, 16, 19, 20, 22, 25mm x 152mm long, with quick chuck fitment.

Collection Details

Please check our May Bank Holiday Opening and Delivery Times for more information on store openings and order collections this weekend.

Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday. Please check your local store is open on the store locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the store you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Don’t forget your mobile number – Make sure your mobile number is added so that we can text you when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for your text or email before coming to collect your items.

If an item is eligible for Next Business Day Collection in store, the order must be placed by 9pm Monday to Thursday for collection the next day. Orders placed after 9pm on Thursday, and up to 5pm on Sunday, will be available for collection on Monday. For larger items over 30kg, please allow two business days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great self feeding spade bits Great set of Bosch spade bits (cheaper yo buy the set than 2 or 3 of the sizes on their own). They are brilliant drill bits, the sharp thread pulls them into the wood, you do need a reasonable powerful drill on a slow to moderate speed. In order to clear the bit on deeper holes you will have to pull quite hard to free the threaded tip from the timber (or stop and reverse). Not always possible to “pull” if using an extension. One draw back the ears are easy to damage if you hit anything metal, difficult to sharpen due to the shape.
