Negative Head Shower Pumps
A negative head shower pump is required for an outlet that isn’t able to rely on gravity – if the shower head is positioned above the cold water tank, for example. A negative head pump is able to suck water from the tank to feed the shower. A positive head shower pump is suitable for gravity-fed systems. If the cold water tank is positioned above the outlet, this shower booster pump will get to work – when the water flows downwards into the pump at the required rate, it lifts a float switch inside the pump to start the impellers.
