Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well on .090" steel Works reasonably well on 2mm steel. However the sprockets on the arbor do not engage fully with the holesaw when the cutter is fully screwed on. You need to back off slightly to get them to engage exactly which results in slight play on the cutter. I ignored the sprockets and tightened up the cutter to avoid play

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cuts through stainless steel with ease Made an easy job of cutting a tap hole in a stainless steel sink, It is advisable to lubricate the area to aid drilling and cooling. Several propitiatory cutting oils are available but as I was only cutting a single hole I used olive oil that I found in the back of a cupboard well past its use by date. When drilling I used a high speed but only applied light pressure and took the tool out at intervals to stop it overheating. The drill just seamed to cut through the sink top effortlessly and made a neat hole through the stainless steel in under a minute.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke apart within seconds Tried cutting through steel tube S235 grade, average hardness, the holesaw broke apart within seconds of making the first cut. I get 20 cuts approx out of PLX and Bosch equivalent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked for me. Got this to cut a hole in a cast iron downpipe for a macerator outlet. Wasn't too confident in it but with some CT90 cutting fluid it went through with no problems and looks like it handle several more. A beefy drill with a torque limiter will not only save your wrists but also avoids breaking the teeth off the saw if it sticks.
