Are waterproof dealer boots 100% waterproof?

Boots with a WR rating are tested to be waterproof for a significant duration. However, water can eventually enter over the top of the boot if you step in deep water. For wading, wellies are still the best option.

Why are my feet wet inside waterproof boots?

If the boot isn't leaking, it is likely sweat. Waterproof boots are warmer than standard boots. We recommend wearing moisture-wicking synthetic or wool socks rather than cotton, which holds onto sweat and makes feet feel wet.
