Indirect Hot Water Cylinder 900 x 450 120L is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needed a lot of foam trimming The cylinder is good and the foam thick and quite tough. The problem is the relief around the 5 ports was poor. Only the hot outlet was OK. Worst was the immersion heater port that was off centre and needed about 20mm cut away one side just to get a box spanner in. You need a box spanner for this cylinder. An offset spanner will not work. I must have spent a hour cutting foam back which I should not have to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from looks presentable In the process of fitting at the moment, tell you what its like when running. The test will be after a few years though

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy replacement Wanted a quick replacement for a tank with a weeping leak. Guess what, your favourite diy suppliers don't stock these anymore. Toolstation provided one next day from an on line order, delivered to my home, before middayin my case, at a competitive price. Terminal connections were compatible with the original fittings so no running out for new bits. Terrific service, absolute lifesaver!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replacement for a 20+ year old cylinder. Good value cylinder. The cold water feed and hot water outlet are 1" BSP, which caused me a dash to the plumber's merchants but the heating coil fittings were like for like. Used plenty of PTFE tape thanks to previous reviews, the tank felt a little flimsy when tightening joints but no leaks. Pretty happy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adequate, but not sure about quality and longevity Arrived promptly and well packaged. Much thinner walls and heating coil inside much smaller diameter than old cylinder, so probably longer to heat water to required temperature. Label says it will take immersion heaters up to 1000mm long but my 880mm heater would not fit. Contacted manufacturer who said it would only take one up to 700mm and suggested I bought a 27" one. They knew label was wrong but it had been like that for some time and never changed. Indifferent attitude that basically said tough. Will have to wait and see if it lasts as long as old cylinder, which was 32 years, but somehow I doubt it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misleading picture Good quality cylinder bought to replace leaking one but 2 gripes - The picture in the catalogue shows a cylinder with the immersion heater hole directly above the coil fittings (so the in a normal tight airing cupboard installation the immersion heater would be at the front and accessible). Mine had the hole at the back so future replacement if needed will be difficult and the wiring up was harder than it should have been. Did they just make it wrong?. the coil fittings were about 20 mm higher than on the old cylinder so connections had to be remade (aren't they standard?)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value I confess I did a lot of research to find the best price for this article. How nice to find that it was at Toolstation where I buy a lot of materials.
