Basin Wrench is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Misunderstood I see a lot of negative reviews here - this is a simple tool specifically for *one* job; removing Tap Backnuts - it's not designed for undoing normal 15/22mm plumbing fittings, it's designed to remove the brass/plastic nut that holds your tap to the sink. for that job, it's perfect!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Bought this in the hope of removing a 15mm nut from underside of tap. It would have been fairly straightforward had the 15mm end of the wrench been 15 mm instead if nearer 18 mm. Had to resolve to using a lump hammer to 'persuade' the affected end closer to the 15 mm it was supposed to be adding precious time onto a time limited job. Yes its cheap but its poorly made, avoid at all cost!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inaccurate Toolstation refunded instantly as the wrench was too big on both sides. Mite like 18 and 28mm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple But Effective Working under a basin can be a nightmare with space highly restricted. A normal spanner is not an option when vertical access is required to loosen nuts on a tap or water pipe. This robust wrench allowed me to loosen the nuts on a tap where other tools failed. Use in conjunction with a box spanner & socket set to access the tightest of spaces .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Slightly bulky but tough I have been using a 'taptool' - its slim and fairly easy to get into place. Problem is it bends out of shape under pressure so bought this. It is MUCH stronger and will allow tight fittings to be freed-off using moles on the shaft of this tool........ PROVIDED there is space on the sink or bath to get the tool into.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very good This tool didn't really do what I wanted it to do. It was cheap enough to try out but was uneffective in the task of undoing retaining nuts on old taps.
