Rated 1 out of 5 by from Yale L1 Smart lock I brought this lock so that if the kids forgot there keys it would be easy for them to get into the house, as they always carry there phones. At our previous house we had a Yale key pad lock which was faultless apart from having to change the battery's. Fitting was easy, and programming the lock to recognize the supplied card and fob were easy too, app easy to use and everyone's phone operated the lock at first..! Then the problems started, after less than a weeks use the battery's supplied in the box failed, new battery's fitted and then it wouldn't recognize the fob or card without factory resetting, to make matters worse it stopped working with the phones as well, failing to respond from outside even if you lifted the handle to wake it up..! I would not recommend this product to any one as it is to unreliable, thumbs down Yale its not one of your greatest security products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sold secondhand returned goods parts missing NOT A PRODUCT REVIEW AS I NEVER GOT TO USE IT! I’m guessing the product is good but I didn’t get to use it, ordered online and collected from Southampton bitterne store. Signed to say collected item then handed a battered and clearly opened/returned item had no fixings (different length internal parts for different door thicknesses) was offered 10% discount which was nice but still renders the item useless if I cannot fit to to my door! Very bad shopping experience!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would Not Pair with my Yale Conexis L1 Lock I bought these to supplement the ones included with the lock. Long & short, after 3 hours in talks to the Yale call centre, it was concluded that these tags could not be added to the lock. The actual lock is also very disappointing for various reasons including the deletion of virtual keys when you replace your phone or delete the app.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Initial 5 Key credits lost with more locks.... DO NOT BUY THESE.... I've argued with Yale on this point, with their clarified position being that the Yale App is a feature, and not intrinsic to the purchase of the product, therefore for each lock you may decide to buy, you actually lose a key credit from the 5 provided on initial purchase. Buy 5 locks, and you've just lost the ability to send digital key credits as one of the key main features of these locks without spending MORE money. Utterly perverse logic, and my advice, simply JUST DON'T BUY THESE, and purchase from a company that isn't going to penalise you're "app usability" for simply buying more of their product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommend I was worried with all the negative reviews I have read but need not have worried. I followed online instructions very carefully and fitted this in about 40 mins. I knew to make sure it was all very straight so that the lock mechanism could work properly. It all worked first time. I've got fobs, phone tags and card and they all programmed through app first time and all work. Had it a couple of weeks now and no issues. It's even better than i thought it would be. Advise is follow the online instructions to the t and make sure the handle and lock are very straight when fitting. I did this and as I said, I had no issues and all was straight forward. App also worked and I sent a ket and deleted a key. The key app worked to un look the door just fine.
