We would like to thank our branch staff and customers for getting involved in our October fundraising event, the Nuts and Bolts Challenge!

Toolstation has raised tens of thousands of pounds so far this year for the RNLI, to help them continue their work saving lives at sea.

After the success of the Lemon Bucket Challenge, the Nuts and Bolts Challenge has proven to be another fun way for branches to raise money and a great way for our customers to get involved and win prizes. The rules were simple: twenty bolts in a bucket of sand, one with a nut on the end. The player picks a bolt and if they find the nut, they win a prize!

Areas of the business have already been using their initiative to meet their fundraising goals in 2019, we’ve seen a lot of inventive ways to raise money for a great cause including head shaves, bowling nights, Tough Mudders, marathon runs – even a sponsored mountain hike to the top of Pen-y-Fan!

Teams will be getting involved in all sorts of festive fundraising soon so make sure to keep an eye out for details. All donations in the RNLI collection tins located on the counters in branches will be gratefully received to help meet your local branch’s target for 2019.
