Northampton Saints and Toolstation Partnership

Toolstation and Saints are in their third year of being partners as part of Travis Perkins elite partnership, which has been in place for 19 years. We have lots of elements to the partnership as well as having our name on their playing shirts.

See what we have been working on recently with the players and around the ground below.

Kick & Pass and Crash Ball Challenge

We have two challenges that fans can take part in during home match days at Franklins Gardens. You can find them in the Family Zone marquee but anyone can take part.

The first is the Kick and Pass Challenge. The player has to score as many points in a minute as possible by hitting targets with scores on them by passing and kicking in a specific sequence. Recently some Northampton Saints players gave it a try. Although extremely accurate they felt the pressure against the clock. You can watch all videos on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Hutch vs Ludlam

If you’re watching a match at the Gardens, why don’t you take part and see if you can beat the Saints player’s score!

Crashball Challenge sees the player crash through a wall while carrying a rugby ball and landing on a crash mat. This is being filmed by a slow-mo video camera, which is sent to the player by email. They then decide to share it.

We’ve also been working with some of the players who are well known woodworking enthusiasts in their downtime. Tom Wood and Alex Waller are keen Toolstation supporters and have attended events and tried out tools for us.

Tom trying tools

Most recently they got to experience one of our power tool suppliers, Festool’s head office with a site visit and then to try some of their high quality tools on their very own projects. They had a great day and learnt a lot, and both would love to have another visit. They even managed to pick up some tips from John, Festool’s trainer, who was on hand to show them how to get the most out of the tools they used.

Videos of their day and products reviews will be available on our social channels soon so look out for them.

We’re looking at other activity with players that will be available soon so if you are interested please check back on these pages for updates.
