Bought this glue to go with the Dampstop Foil.
The foil seems ok in the places it has stuck, but the glue just does not pull in the foil onto the wall when first trying to put the foil on the wall..
Even the tiniest imperfection on the wall or in the plaster will cause the foil to pull away from the wall because the glue does not have a good "grab" on it.
My father also used the foil on a previous job but he didnt use the recommended glue, he used normal wallpaper paste and reckons it worked fine ?
Once we returned to ours the next day to paint you could clearly see the areas that the glue had not adhered.
Perhaps a quick light sanding on the plaster might help before using this glue ?
Honestly the tiniest lump or bit of grit in the plaster and the foil will not stick if you use this glue !!!.

Not Great !!
Put this up on a kitchen wall that was showing some signs of penetrating damp .
We used the glue that is recommended for this product.
If you can get this to stick flat then everything should be ok but the problem is that the glue is not tacky enough for instant stick.
You only need the slightest of imperfection on the wall or in the plaster and this damp stop product will just lift away from the wall.
I guess on a perfectly flat wall it might be ok ?
We painted over it the next day and the areas that had stuck flat look fairly good but the other areas that lifted away looked awful.
Luckily the area we used it on was under the worktop and behind the fridge.
The manufacturers need to take a look at the adhesive that they sell with this product, its just not sticky enough when initially trying to get the damp stop foil to adhere.
