Reviews
Power Inverter 500W is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inverter suitable for a caravan I recently purchased this small inverter to give my caravan a small level of off-grid capability. Mostly to power my sleep apnoea CPAP pump when I’m at festivals. I’m yet to test it out in anger yet, but I have test various small appliances, a drill charger, as well as the usb socket for charging my phone. My only criticism is that the included supply cables were not really suitable 300W at 12v = 25 amps. It was easy enough to find 50 amp cable at a battery shop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price - warning - not power socket I bought this on the way out for a day out for inflating a dinghy. did a fantastic job, but didn't realise it was with crocodile clips - i was hoping it was a 12v power-socket job.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Should come with a cigarette lighter lead. Does the job, Lacks a Cigarette lighter lead. apart from that it was powerful enough to run a dremel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for the power output. I bought this primarily to run a 700 watt toaster in a caravan with no mains electricity. Only 12v solar power available. With no or low loads the unit is silent, as the load increases a cooling fan kicks in but it isn't annoyingly loud. One problem that I noticed, and it seems typical of inverters in this price range, is that under full load the output voltage drops sharply. For example, when connected to the toaster, the voltage drops from 240 down to 200 so my 700 watt toaster becomes a very slow 580 watt toaster. Overall, I'm happy with the unit even if I do have to wait longer for toast. It beats running the generator.
