It's a Glass cutterNot being a glazier I needed to cut a piece of 2mm picture glass. I had an old cutter so needed to buy a new one. Cheap available instantly. No problems in marking the glass but my technique failed miserably So can't comment on tool too much. I have a piece of glass now but it does not fit the frame I intended.File tool away for future use.

wheels fell offused this a few times and the first wheel went blunt even though i was oiling it then switching to the second wheel all of the wheels fell out. i did cut some glass with it but it was very hard also the angle of cut has to be 90 degrees. i bought an oilfilled silvatec glass cutter from the internet for about the same price which works much better. maybe toolstation should get some of these to sell

Metal wheel not so good as diamond glass cutterI only had one sheet of glass to cut, so I saved money by buying one with hardened metal wheels instead of the diamond that I used when younger. Unfortunately, it was very poor at scratching the glass, and I found it very difficult to snap the sheet cleanly, even though it was quite thin.

RubbishLike most things in life, you get what you pay for and this is cheap, but this glass cutter is rubbish. The cutting wheel on the one I bought were not hardened steel, so didn't score the glass and therefore made it impossible to cut the glass to size. Don't bother with this product if you need to cut glass!
